GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for working with members from all areas and levels of the organization to facilitate change through systems and process improvements.  This person must good communication skills, be comfortable with change, and capable of working in a demanding environment.  In summary, this position will:

• perform business analysis to document user requirements, analyze and document “as is” and “to be” business processes, and offer solutions;

The Financial Systems Analyst will work within a project team to analyze, document and communicate the user requirements for use in enabling Finance technology solutions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for providing technical design, coding, testing, and implementation of new reports/software, along with modifications to existing reports/software.  Provide application integration solutions to improve staff’s ability to access data.  Implement best practices for data access, report development, design and support.

Business Analysis:

End User Support:

Financial System Maintenance:

• Financial system security set-up and maintenance (both front-office and back-office)
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve financial application issues

• Monitor regular system maintenance functions
• Work with the IT department to provide timely level three application support to the Firm.  Coordinate system upgrades and maintenance with IT and vendor
