Client is seeking a Project Manager to join their technology team in Monterey, CA. Company is a leading multi-national e-commerce site and marketplace serving 8 countries and over 50 million products/services through affiliates and direct partners.
The Project Manager manages the day-to-day responsibilities of team members, provides team leadership, and ensures the timely and accurate completion of projects. This position will provide support for our Spanish speaking markets; qualified candidates should be bilingual in Spanish/English.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Assesses the skill level of team members to correctly assign tasks.
•Coordinates team activities to ensure completion of tasks.
•Evaluates status of assignments for accuracy and timeliness.
•Resolves conflict among team members for efficient delivery of project.
•Facilitates meetings to effectively review requirements, set success criteria, and assign tasks.
•Identifies projects issues and offers resolutions to efficiently meet project needs.
•Analyzes the impact of the project to identify potential programming or system conflicts.
•Performs GAP analysis of the system to identify the expected results.
•Ensures appropriate requirements are met to obtain approval for deployment to the next environment.
•Coordinates and reviews all testing results for accurate and timely completion.
•Ensures that project documents are accurate and complete, and stored appropriately.
•Follows SCRUM to plan sprints.
•Set priorities, develop project road map and schedule project timelines.
Education and Experience
•Bachelors degree in business management, computer science, or related field.
•Three years of experience in project management.
•One year of experience in Sound Software Development Lifecycle and eCommerce.
•Or a combination of equivalent experience, education, and training.
-Must be fluent in Spanish language to support the Spanish speaking markets/ team.
-Proficient use of MS Office Products and project management software.
-Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM and Waterfall Methodology
-Above moderate use of English reading comprehension, speaking, and writing; complex problem solving; and troubleshooting, active listening, critical thinking, service orientation, operations analysis, quality control analysis, systems analysis and evaluations, and judgment and decision-making.
