The Application Analyst will work with the IT Applications Department to help oversee and support all the applications that make up the Applications and Data leveraged. This individual will ensure that they are meeting the needs of the various business units that utilize them. Focus would be on ensuring that the individual applications are being maintained so that they are available and secure.

We are looking for a candidate in the Buffalo, Rochester or Syracuse areas to work remotely.

Salary range based on experience: $80,000 – $90,000


How are you successful in this role?

As the Application Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the applications are functioning as intended and easily accessible for the required users within the company. Support IT Team, and each of the SMEs with troubleshooting / resolving issues with the various applications. Provide support to the various Application improvements projects. The maintenance and monitoring of the SaaS solutions, for integrity and security. This role will be responsible for understanding the systems, and data required to maintain these applications as well as coordinating with our business partners and vendors on any patches, upgrades, and enhancements so that we continuously secure and improve the applications supported.In this role you will, be the technical owner for our portfolio of SaaS Applications such as ServiceMax, Freshdesk, Salesforce, Sage Intacct etc. and work with the application SME’s to ensure proper operations for the needs of the business. Responsible for our endpoint management/MDM software and strategy. Understand business use and processes around the applications being used. Responsible for identity management and SSO integrations. Develop, revise, and maintain technical and operational documentation to continually improve computing environments. Successfully manage vendors and escalate technical issues to resolution. Bring awareness and manage patches, & upgrades between vendor and company.


What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • At least 1-3 years of relevant SaaS or on-premises system administration experience with Windows systems.
  • Experience using cloud identity and access management tools, preferably OneLogin
  • Familiarity with Intacct, ServiceMax, Freshdesk, Salesforce, and other SaaS applications
  • Microsoft Power Platform Experience a plus
  • Attention to detail, time management of complex tasks and strong customer focus
  • Maintain professional attitude and work ethic in addition to being well organized and efficient
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
