Our client has an opening for a Remote Data Architect.

This is a full-time / direct-hire / fully remote position

What You Will Bring:

As our Data Architect you will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud-native systems that collect, manage, store, and convert raw data into usable information.

You will report to the Director of Information Technology and work in collaboration with all members of the team to optimize company data integrity, transformation, storage, pipelines, etc.

Requirements

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Drive the development and maintenance of scalable company data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, databases and storage while adhering to strict security and privacy standards.
  • Understanding strategic data needs of the business and translate into data system architecture and design. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve processes, detail of data, and business applications.
  • Ultimately, this role should be passionate about the idea of leveraging data to enable data-driven decision making as well as innovating new data architecture ideals to support the next generation of data products and initiatives.

 

 

Your Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Computer Science or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering/Architect role.
  • Your Preferred Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in a Data Engineering/ Architect role utilizing Microsoft Azure

Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure Data Products such as:

  • Databricks
  • Data Factory
  • Synapse
  • HDInsight
  • SQL Server
  • Snowflake platform experience, a plus

The other Important details: 

Salary range: $140K – $160K + equity

Location: This position can be headquartered remotely with travel requirements outlined below

Travel: No travel required.

Exemption status: Full time, exempt
