Our client in Brookhaven, GA has an opening for a Data Warehouse Developer

This is a full-time / direct-hire / hybrid position

Their Digital Marketing Development team is looking for a Data Warehouse Developer to be able to develop, expand and support our new data warehouse. The Data Warehouse Developer will work closely with the Data Integration Team and our reporting user base to provide access to accurate data in a secure and responsive environment.


·         Develop and maintain our AWS Redshift DW

·         Develop and maintain new reports and dashboards using AWS QuickSight

·         Translate new requirements into DW tables, AWS Glue processes and procedures, and QuickSight reports and dashboards

·         Develop and implement automated procedures to ensure data quality and data completeness

·         Ability to perform data analysis in the different source systems feeding our DW

·         Tune queries, reports, and load processes into and from DW environment

·         Troubleshoot and debug issues in both data and processes; provide practical ad-hoc and long-term solutions and root cause analysis

·         Stay on top and showcase knowledge in the industry’s latest trends and technologies in data warehousing

·         Be on a rotational on-call schedule to handle support issues

·         Participate in daily stand-up meetings

·         Create and maintain requirement specifications, design/mapping specifications and DW documentation

·         Collaborate with other teams, team members and stakeholders


·         Three or more years of DW development

·         Hands-on/development experience with AWS Redshift

·         Hands-on knowledge of Linux

·         Hands-on knowledge of working in an AWS environment (Glue, Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, Redshift, QuickSight)

·         Hands-on knowledge of SQL Server and MongoDB is a must, other database environments (e.g. Oracle, Snowflake) are nice to have

·         Hands-on knowledge of working with unstructured and structured data in different formats (Flatfile, JSON, XML, Parquet, etc.)

·         Knowledge of working with a Customer Data Platform are nice to have (e.g. Segment)

·         Knowledge of working with a Data Integration tool (e.g. Informatica, AWS Glue) or other languages (Python, Java) are nice to have

·         Ability to work with stakeholders, to understand detailed requirements and then design DW tables and load processes that support that vision

·         Ability to take (constructive) feedback as a clarification of understanding and to redevelop with that in mind

·         Be passionate about resolving data quality and data delivery pain points through great design


Salary range based on experience: $130,000 – $150,000
