Our client is seeking a talented Salesforce Technical Architect to join their team.

This is a fully remote / full-time / direct hire position

Salary range based on experience: $170K – $200K

**Salary is flexible/open for discussion regarding anyone who is a Certified Salesforce Technical Architect

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Salesforce implementations, providing both oversight and hands on contributions to the design, development, and integration
  • Participate in the development of conceptual and logical architecture
  • Design, develop and maintain application architectures that support client’s business requirements
  • Resolve integration and interfacing issues between various back-end systems
  • Optimize application performance and scalability
  • Identify risks on your projects and help implement a mitigation plan
  • Provide support to the sales effort on new business development pursuits, assisting with RFP responses, architecture assessments and technical qualification.
  • Think creatively to balance the demands of client needs with technical best practices

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in application architecture with Salesforce Cloud development
  • Experience developing applications in other technologies, such as Ruby, Java, or .Net
  • CPQ (Steelbrick/Apptus) and Demandware implementation experience preferred
  • Firm understanding of web application design and analysis, design patterns, and object oriented design
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to facilitate team and client meetings effectively and to deliver constructive feedback
  • Experience in multiple web technologies including: XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, SQL
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with client senior management
  • Working knowledge of multiple web and application tier technologies: Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, Apache Http, open source packages
  • Experience with project automation technology: Jenkins, automated unit testing, Maven, Ant
  • Ability to travel, as needed
  • Ability to stand and sit for sustained periods of time, at least 50%
  • Close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data; transcribing/typing; viewing a computer; extensive reading
