Joel Shapiro founded JMS Technical Solutions, Inc from a home office in 2009. Joel’s background includes growing a NYC based staffing firm from three people to over eighty, while engineering the turn around to profitability. With over 10 years of recruitment experience, Joel has come to believe in the value of meaningful connections with both applicants and clients – truly valuing the relationship over the transaction. His responsibilities include both business development and recruitment. Joel has one son, three daughters (including twins!) and a Golden Doodle in his busy home.

Joel Moore brings a wealth of Recruitment experience to JMS. Having been a Technical recruiter for over 10 years, he has built deep and lasting relationships with his clients, as is evidence by the long list of references on his LinkedIn page. Joel’s passion is to help people achieve the most out of their perspective career paths and developing strategies to meet their objectives. In addition to his day job, Joel Moore has a home job as well with four kids, that includes Triplets!
Technical Sourcer and Recruiter
Alyssa is a Sourcer/Recruiter at JMS Technical Solutions. It has always been a dream of hers to have a direct positive impact on others. With such a broad dream, there were many avenues that could’ve been taken in order to achieve this dream. With her significant background in customer service, and unique passion to help others, she was recruited by Joel Moore to become a part of the JMS team. Aside from learning how to become a top recruiter, she enjoys writing calligraphy, building lasting friendships, and spending time with her two rescue kitties!
Cassie is the Operations Administrator for the JMS Technical Solutions team. She comes from a background of client service, sales, operations and HR. Cassie’s main goal is to ensure daily operations are running smoothly at JMS and she has a passion for creating and facilitating a company culture that people want to be a part of. When she is not working, Cassie is chasing after three very active tiny humans and trying to experience all the amazing things that Buffalo has to offer.
