A few weeks ago, I wrote a post about utilizing the ‘Who has viewed your profile’ section on LinkedIn to max advantage.  This got me thinking that I should drink my own juice and come out of the shadows.

I decided to change my settings and no longer be “This member chose to be shown as anonymous”.

Who am I??

This used to be me!

Since I’ve been liberated and out of the shadows, I’ve noticed immediate returns and could have kicked myself for not changing this setting years ago.

The first benefit I’ve noticed is a lot more traffic to my page.  When I view someones profile and don’t reach out to them, I’ve noticed that they usually come check out my page.

The second benefit is that I am now using my time more wisely.  Instead of wasting time and checking out the competition, I’m more focused on the task at hand.

After being Anonymous for so many years, it feels great to be me and not that shadow person!

It’s me viewing your profile!

If you are anonymous consider coming out of the shadows for a few weeks and see what happens!

Are you Anonymous? Do you have any thoughts on this? We would love to hear what you think about this feature!

If you are reading this and we are not yet connected on LinkedIn – please send me a connection request and you can see when I view your profile 🙂
